Overview
Daily Work Reports (DWRs) contain field activity information that can support as-built schedules, but the records are often scattered across diaries and meeting minutes. This study develops algorithms and a prototype system to generate project- and activity-level schedules from digital field data.
The approach was validated using a real highway project. It can help agencies monitor progress in greater detail and use as-built schedules for productivity analysis.
